I joined JCC as a criminal justice instructor in 2013. I have always been drawn to opportunities to learn and share knowledge with others. Upon earning my M.A. specializing in terrorism studies and WMD nonproliferation, I applied my passion for these subjects as an employee of the U.S. Department of Defense. It gives me great pleasure to be back at my first alma mater and in a position to share my numerous academic interests with future criminal justice professionals. I believe college is a critical time for students to hone their written and verbal communication skills, which are assets in any criminal justice profession. I strive to assist my students in this important endeavor throughout the semester. Outside the college, I enjoy participating in competitive shooting sports, reading, playing the guitar, and riding my horses.
