Faculty Load and Automated Compensation

The part-time faculty and full-time overload contract process is an all electronic process referred to as Faculty Load and Automated Compensation (FLAC).

To ensure meeting the first payroll of September 14, 2018, contract information must be acknowledged online by September 6 by 4 p.m.

Contracts are processed in equal payments based on the number of payrolls left from the time payroll receives your executed contract to the end of the semester/contract.

Instructions

Log in to self-service Banner:

  1. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  2. Enter log in information:
    • Your user ID is your username (i.e. johnsobw01), JCC J# or SS#
    • If you do not know your PIN or it needs to be reset, contact Linda Fye at 716.338.1033
  3. Click on “Employee”
  4. Click on “Faculty Load and Compensation”
  5. Choose the semester (201812 = fall 2018)
  6. Review the information that displays (you may click on any blue words for additional information)
  7. If the course/s looks correct, click the “Faculty Acknowledgement” box at the top of each section
  8. Click on “Acknowledge Selected Positions” at the bottom of the page
  9. The page will refresh and a date will appear next to the Faculty Acknowledgement checked box
