The Warp Trio is actually a quartet, consisting of pianist Mikael Darmanie, violinist/violist/composer Josh Henderson, cellist Ju-Young Lee, and percussionist/composer Rick Martinez. They play a wide range of music from classical to rock to jazz and everywhere in between, and original compositions as well. They often take a unique approach to the music they play, and their original compositions embrace and blend a diversity of styles. Technology also plays a role in their performances, as electronic effects and other electronic enhancements are often present.
