Exhibition Opening: Interwoven

View works by fiber artist Kari Roslund during a reception to open her Interwoven exhibition.

Roslund takes raw fibers and reworks them into a vibrant palette of lustrous silks and woolen tones. She layers handworked fleeces and roving onto reclaimed textiles, a process that brings a three-dimensional element to her impressionistic work.

The exhibition, sponsored by JCC and the Tri-County Arts Council, is on display February 7-March 26. Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday.
