Program Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  1. Set up and operate machine tools.
  2. Interpret engineering drawings.
  3. Interpret and troubleshoot traditional ladder logic diagrams.
  4. Program and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic diagrams.
  5. Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  6. Understand DC and AC single phase and poly-phase motors.
  7. Understand and troubleshoot DC circuits, single-phase AC circuits, and 3-phase wye and delta circuits.
  8. Apply basic welding concepts needed for industrial maintenance applications.
