Job Description: 

Duties will include working with park naturalists in providing programs, walks and children’s activities related to the natural environment in the park; acting as a resource for patrons and park personnel; developing and implementing programs, bulletin boards or posters; and coordinating with park managers and other departments.

Other opportunities may present during the summer for participation in bird-banding studies, invasive specie monitoring, wildlife tracking or management practices and citizen scientist studies.

Requirements: 

Applicant must be physically fit, willing to work outside in all weather and capable of relating to a diverse population. Applicant should have a background in the natural sciences, environmental studies or conservation.

No cash stipend is offered, but housing within the park is provided for summer semester interns for 30 hours/week.
