Students use the physical and mental processes of acting to build self-confidence. Both improvised and rehearsed scenes are practiced in class to discover how to be at home in front of an audience. Through hands-on application, students involved in mounting a stage production work in teams to learn group dynamics, problem solving, and time management skills. Students will gain a working knowledge in either lighting, sound, costuming, publicity, or props. May be taken for a total of 4 credit hours. Prerequisite: permission of instructor required.
