#6318: Jan. 28-Mar. 4 (W), 6-8:30 p.m., NCTC 115, $85
In this class, you will learn various techniques for drawing accurate landscape scenes and apply texture in a realistic manner. You will learn techniques for transferring your image onto your work surface. You will also learn how to indicate texture using many different techniques and tools. You will create a color wheel which will help you produce realistic colors for painting basic landscape scenes. The fee does not include supplies. Upon registration participants will receive a supply list.
Adult Beginner Guitar
#6336: Jan. 28-Feb. 25 (W), 6-7 p.m., NCTC 117, $49
Designed for the adult student with little or no previous experience with the guitar. The course will cover tuning, chords, scales, chord progression and culminates in learning a song as a group. This is less than $10 per class! Guitars are not provided - you must bring an acoustic or electric guitar to class.

Lake Erie Shipwrecks: The Dynamic Dozen

Discover one dozen recently found shipwrecks from a Schooner sporting a large brass bell to a long sought-after steamer. Georgann and Mike will amaze you with stories of the discovery and exploration of shipwrecks in our own backyard. Shallow or deep, intact or not, each is an exciting slice of history.
Traffic Survival Workshops
The Point/Insurance Reduction Program, offered through the National Traffic Safety Institute and approved by the Department of Motor Vehicles, offers participants a way to reduce driver record violation points and/or insurance premiums. Saturday and daytime classes have a 1/2 hour lunch on your own. Please bring your driver’s license to class.
Note: Students must arrive at this class promptly by 9 a.m. or 6 p.m. If you are late, you will not be admitted. We strictly adhere to this policy. This applies to every JCC location.
