Have you been thinking about going to college or improving your reading or math skills? These classes are for you!
When you enroll in Pathways to Success classes, you will be part of a cohort of students who are either preparing themselves for college or brushing up on their basic reading, writing, and math skills.
There is no cost for this program other than your time. If you are looking to upgrade your skills or attend college next semester, join our Pathways to Success. Space is limited, so register soon. The Glen Campbell Story: Living with Alzheimer's, with Kim Campbell
June 4, 7-8:30 p.m., Scharmann Theatre
JCC’s Center for Continuing Education is partnering with Lutheran to bring our community the poignant The Glen Campbell Story: Living With Alzheimer’s. We hope you take the opportunity to join us for this presentation. Kim Campbell, the wife of musician Glen Campbell, will be our guest for this profound and moving program. She will introduce the documentary film, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me and share her story of being by his side through his entire journey into dementia. The documentary includes his heart wrenching song "I’m Not Gonna Miss You." After the film, there will be a time for questions and answers.

Reading & Writing

This course will introduce you to the basic skill level necessary for reading comprehension. You will reinforce skills to identify topics, main ideas and details, and the author’s purpose, along with strengthening vocabulary. Students will focus on basic writing skills needed for response papers and summaries by using essential study strategies.
