In accordance with the provisions of the 1998 amendments of the Higher Education
Act, Jamestown Community College participates in the distribution of mail voter
registration forms to students enrolled in a certificate or degree program.
General
Election Day for all states is in November 2006, and most states require eligible
voters to register prior to that date. Eligible students who are
not registered may complete mail voter registration forms and mail them according
to their state filing deadlines to participate in local, state and national elections:

York State voter registration forms are available to enrolled students each
semester through the JCC Campus Life offices and the North County
Extension Center main office. Voter registration forms for Pennsylvania residents
are available at the JCC Warren site office and the Campus Life offices at the
Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses.
