Students
participating in drop/add procedures during the first week of classes will not
be assessed charges for dropped classes required for course schedule changes. Refunds
are paid in the following order to the student: Federal Stafford Loans (subsidized
and unsubsidized), FPLUS Loans, Federal Pell Grants, Federal SEOG Program Aid,
required refunds of other federal, state, private, or institutional assistance. All
refunds are based on the date withdrawal forms are completed and filed with the
registrar's office. Exceptions to this policy will be considered under extenuating
circumstances. Students
must complete an affidavit for a certificate of residence that indicates permanent
New York state residency for 12 months prior to the start of classes. Many
course prerequisites are related to test results. Transfer students may be exempt
from the placement test.
Students
may pay with valid Visa, MasterCard or Discover charge
cards.
