JCC is an open admission community college located in the southwestern part of New York state. The minimum requirements for admission are graduation from an approved secondary school, or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and acceptable scores on the American College Testing Assessment Tests. The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the American College Test (ACT) are not required for admission. The admissions office uses a "rolling" admission decision process whereby decision letters are sent to applicants after their file folders are complete. There is no application deadline although students are encouraged to have their application process complete one week before classes begin.
