The Jamestown Community College Cattaraugus County Campus Alumni Association and the Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. will host an antique auction beginning at 10 a.m. on August 4 at JCC’s Cutco Theater. Proceeds will benefit JCC’s alumni fund as well as GOACC’s Santa Claus Lane celebration and the continued development of the Allegheny River Valley Trail.

The auction, run by United Auctions, Inc., will feature high quality antiques and collectables. Early bird previews will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on August 3 and at 8 a.m. the day of the auction. Those interested in submitting items for the auction should complete a consignment form and return early to allow for special advertising. Photos are also encouraged.

“We are excited to join GOACC in another great venture that we hope will become an annual occurrence.  It’s also a wonderful opportunity for our Alumni Association to raise money for JCC scholarships while assisting with an entertaining community event,” said Larry Sorokes, dean, JCC’s Cattaraugus County Campus, college-wide planning and development.

“As a community based organization, with an eye on improving the quality of life and that of our residents, we are excited about this worthy event,” said John Sayegh, chief operating officer, Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
