Reference Librarians provide an introduction to library services, a tour of the library, and instruction on the online catalog.

Class Instruction

Tailored to meet the needs of beginning to advanced classes at JCC. Faculty should contact the Reference Desk (716-376-7517) to discuss their requirements and to schedule a class.

Classes for Credit

LIB160 - Electronic Library Resources (1 credit)
Introduces students to the information resources available on the Reference through online lectures, demonstrations and assignments. Students will develop basic search skills needed to find online information. Students will be able to select, search, and evaluate both bibliographic and full-text Reference resources, developing skills that can be transferred to use with other Reference resources.
