Student Computing - Network Drives

All registered students (either part-time or full-time) have space available on the JCC server cluster to store and retrieve their personal files. The Instructional Computing & Software Services Department asks that you use this space only for academic files. Please do not store music or video files there or any material that may violate our Computer Use Policy. Those students who violate this policy may have their computer account closed.

Students are given network storage space. While on campus, after logging on to the network, double-click on the 'My Computer' icon. Along with your 'D:,' 'A:,' etc., drives, you will see a 'U:' drive and an 'S:' drive.

Click on “My Files” and you will be able to “Add Content” in the form of creating a new folder or file or uploading an existing file. Once this file or folder is created, you may download, rename, copy, move, zip or delete the file or folder. Each student has 10 megabytes of space available.
