Student Computing - Computer Labs

The Open computer lab is located in TECH building in the Learning Assistance and Computer Center rooms 118 and 119.

Network accounts – All registered students have a computer account. The account is created upon registration. Each student is given a storage location on the U:\ drive which is listed by the student's J number.

Hardware –

• All labs are networked and contain a laserjet printer.
• 2 laptop carts with 35 laptops are available in the TECH and AHSC buildings for classroom use only
• Scanners – TECH 313 & TECH 115

Software – All labs include the following software:

• Microsoft Office 2007
• Internet Explorer
• Sophos Antivirus software

Special Services –

• Banner Account – provides student access to personal records
• Angel Account – campus web portal
