Instructional Computing Software Services installs and maintains Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and other specialty software.

Computer Labs

Software installations are done between semesters. An image is created with our ghosting software and then loaded to each individual pc. Deep Freeze software is also installed in all student labs. After a computer is rebooted it will be restored back to its original state. All changes made by the user will be lost. This ensures that changes made by students in desktop appearance, such as screensavers, images and backgrounds, are removed when the computer is shut down.

Scheduling

Software installations for labs must be scheduled well in advance. Please review the ICSS Action Priority Policy.
