Name: Ben Lindquist


Bio:

Coach Lindquist was a member of the 1997 and 1998 JCC Jayhawk golf teams under former Coach Bill Burk.
He previously coached the JCC-Olean Jaguar golf team from 2006-2009, before joining Coach Burk on the JCC Jayhawk golf staff in 2010.
"My coaching strategy focuses on course management, and playing to your own individual strengths. I try to get my guys to have fun during practice and while they're out on the course, Essentially, that is why we play the game to begin with, because it's fun! If they can stay away from big numbers, realize that par is a good score, and let the birdie opportunities come to them, then I believe that they can be very successful in tournament play."
Lindquist also serves as the Director of Athletics and Recreation for the Jamestown CC - Cattaraugus Campus in Olean, NY.
