Bryan Hodgson, Class of 2007, has been named an assistant coach of the University at Buffalo men's basketball team. 

Recruiting will be a central focus of his role for the team. He arrives at UB after spending the last two years coaching at Midland College in Texas, where he helped lead the team to a six-win turnaround during the 2014-15 season. While there, he assisted in managing all aspects of the recruitment for Midland and conducted individual skill development workouts and in-season team practice sessions. In addition to Midland College, Hodgson has also coached at JCC and SUNY Fredonia. He formed the I-90 Elite, an AAU team featuring kids from Western New York and Erie, Pennsylvania.

Hodgson, a Jamestown native, earned a degree in social sciences from JCC.
