The Pathways Transfer Program is a unique agreement between JCC and SUNY Empire State College that offers you a seamless transfer from Jamestown JCC into baccalaureate degree programs at Empire State. Once admitted, you will work with an Empire State faculty mentor to design an individualized degree plan that reflects your educational and career goals. Through the Communiversity at JCC and the Pathways Transfer Program, you will have the opportunity to earn a SUNY bachelor’s degree without leaving the area. A faculty mentor will offer advice and guidance to help you choose the mode of study that works best for you – study in-person, online, or in small groups. All Empire State students can chose from eleven areas of study to design an individual degree program that reflects their goals and aspirations. SUNY Empire State College students can pursue a B.A., B.S., or B.P.S. in concentrations (similar to individualized majors) such as: business, management, human services, emergency management, nursing (RN to BSN), human development, and communications and media, as well as concentrations in the liberal arts.
