Environmental Science internship opportunities

At Jamestown Community College, we realize that there's no substitute for hands-on, real world experience. Academics internships provide short-term, credit-bearing work experience in which a student is guided by a faculty sponsor and mentored by a professional who provides opportunities in the field.

As an intern, you can help serve the needs of an organization, network with others in the discipline, and gain valuable skills and experience. Students who have successfully completed at least 12 credits and earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 are encouraged to pursue internship opportunities through applied learning.

For assistance in exploring and securing an environmental science, biology, or sustainability-related internship, contact Jan Bowman in the Science Center on the Jamestown Campus. Need a hand perfecting your resume and cover letter? Visit the Counseling and Career Center.
