Connect with a career mentor in your field

Prepare for life after Jamestown Community College with the support of a career mentor. Our mentors are career professionals who will share their experience with you and help you develop specific skills and knowledge. As a mentee, you'll be paired with a mentor in your field of study, and you will be able to learn from your mentor throughout the semester.

Learn more about career mentoring

You will be matched with a mentor for one semester. Our mentors have great experience in your interested career field. Some of our mentors include a marine biologist, FBI forensics investigator, vacation property real estate agent, and nurse practitioner. We'll match you with a professional in your field.

You'll commit to a minimum of one conversation a month in person, via email, or phone. You will build a professional network, connect your academics to your career goals, receive career guidance, and gain exposure to career options, advice, and job search topics.
