APLUS stands for Advanced Program in Learning for Underprepared Students. It is designed for full-time students whose placement scores have indicated need to strengthen academic skills in writing, reading, and math. In addition to taking developmental courses in those three academic areas, students in the APLUS program will also take INT 1510: Achievement and Self, a course aimed at helping you become a more effective, successful learner.
The mission of the Accelerated Program in Learning for Underprepared Students (APLUS) is to assist underprepared learners in achieving a better quality of life by providing opportunities to grow academically and personally.
